Irony Gone Overboard

As an avid watcher of CSI, I am greatly amazed with how the investigators, detectives and operatives solve every problem they encounter. To the point that sometimes the derivation of the evidences in a specific crime scene is almost implausible. For instance, the acquisition of smudged fingerprints. Somehow, the detectives are still able to gather that specific fingerprint, no matter how smeared it is. That is through of course, high-end technology. After they have collected the fingerprint, they run it in Automated Fingerprint Identification System to match it to someone and then voila, suspect is identified. From an almost indiscernible fingerprint, crime scene investigators still manage to solve the case. Brilliant. Too brilliant, actually.
