Just because one's writing is lugubrious doesn't mean the author is suicidal, and those with perky posts doesn't necessarily lead a life full of rainbows and butterflies. Just think of Jack Nicholson's character in "As Good as it Gets," he writes the most heart-melting love stories, but personally, he was a jerk.
